NEW BRITAIN, Conn. (WTNH) — A Meriden man was arrested in New Britain for his alleged involvement in stealing more than $135,000 worth of merchandise from home improvement retailers.
Connecticut State Police (CSP) conducted an operation Wednesday to search for three suspects tied to the retail theft, which has been active in New England for the past 90 days, police said.
The group is believed to have brandished firearms at home improvement employees, police said. They have been involved in multiple motor vehicle pursuits with numerous police departments, according to CSP.
