A Texas teenager who was high on THC when he crashed his pickup truck into a minivan carrying seven members of a family, killing six of them, will spend decades in prison.
Luke Resecker, 19, was found guilty of six counts of manslaughter among other charges on Oct. 27, nearly two years after he was behind the wheel of a pickup truck that veered into oncoming highway traffic and slammed into a minivan . Inside that minivan were seven members of one family, six of whom were killed. The lone survivor was paralyzed from the waist down. Resecker and his passenger were also injured, the latter of whom suffered a traumatic brain injury, according to the Johnson and Somervelle County District Attorney's Office.
