Despite still being in search of its next head coach, Oregon State football has a new addition to its 2026 recruiting class.

Three-star tight end Landon Cook announced his commitment to the Beavers on Friday. Cook — from De La Salle High School in Concord, California —had interest from several schools including UNLV and Arizona but chose OSU.

Cook is rated the No. 135 tight end in the country and No. 232 player in California according to 247Sports’ composite rankings.

Standing at 6-5, 205 pounds, Cook is the first tight end in this recruiting class for the Beavers. He told 247Sports he was primarily recruited by current OSU tight ends coach Will Heck.
