Oregon recipients of federal food assistance should be able to access their full benefits as of Nov. 7.

Gov. Tina Kotek said in a news release the Oregon Department of Human Services worked through the night to issue the full November benefits by the morning of Nov. 7, following a federal court order that the Trump administration release 100% of the funding for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program.

About 757,000 Oregonians receive SNAP benefits .

Rhode Island federal Judge John McConnell on Nov. 6 ordered the administration to make full payments of November SNAP benefits to the states within a day. The order came after Oregon joined 21 other states in suing the federal government for the release of the funds.
