Three new shops are set to open in Cranston's Garden City Center by the end of the year, as crews work to finish transforming the space formerly occupied by Chico's into three spaces, while a fourth new store has already opened.

A bakery for pet treats, a jewelry store and a clothing and "lifestyle" brand are set to open in the roughly 3,000-square-foot space that once housed Chico's , between Ben & Jerry's and Banana Republic ,
