U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement have publicly addressed the Nov. 6 arrest of a man in Seaford that involved the assistance of Delaware State and Seaford police.

Carlos Chaj-Gonzalez was arrested after resisting officers from ICE Baltimore’s Salisbury sub-office, the statement provided by spokesperson Casey Latimer said.

Delaware State Police spokesperson India Sturgis said her agency responded to the incident "following a report that a federal agent had been assaulted," but the ICE statement said no officers were injured.
