The Returned and Services League of Australia will host its annual Remembrance Day ceremony at the State War Memorial in Kings Park on Tuesday, November 11.
On the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, World War I ended on the Western Front. The day known as Remembrance Day has become a moment for people around the nation to reflect on those who have sacrificed and served for the country.
This year’s service will be attended by a number of distinguished guests, including WA Governor Chris Dawson and Premier Roger Cook.
Senior representatives from the Royal Australian Navy, Australian Army and Royal Australian Air Force will also be present to pay their respects.
