SPARKS, Nev. (KOLO) - The Sparks City Attorney’s Office has announced the sentencing of a man to a 180 day suspended sentence after being convicted of domestic battery.
On Sept. 3, officers with the Sparks Police Department were called to a domestic disturbance at a residence in Sparks. When officers arrived, they heard a woman screaming while investigating an unrelated vehicle accident.
When they investigated, they made contact with Thomas Riley and the female victim at the door of the residence. Police say the woman was crying profusely, prompting officers to remove her from the home.
