KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Police are searching for a man accused of breaking into mausoleums and desecrating burial sites at a Kansas City cemetery.
Jackson County, Missouri, Circuit Court records show that Luther C. Turner, 41, faces charges of disturbing a burial site and theft. He is wanted on a $25,000 warrant, which was issued on Thursday, Nov. 6.

The probable cause statement indicated that the Kansas City Police Department responded to reports of a prowler around 1:45 a.m. on April 2.
When officers arrived, they said they found broken chapel windows and three vandalized mausoleums. One casket had been pulled from its tomb into the main area.
