CINCINNATI (WXIX) - Cincinnati police are investigating a deadly shooting in the West End.

According to Cincinnati Police Sgt. Anthony Mitchell, District 1 officers were dispatched to the area of Poplar Steet and Central Avenue due to a shot spotter notification.

One person was found with a gunshot wound, Sgt. Mitchell said.

FOX19 NOW crews at the scene can confirm that person is dead.

Police did not list if there are any suspects.
