CINCINNATI (WXIX) - An investigation is underway after shocking photos emerged of a 6-year-old child shackled in a transport vehicle leaving a Cincinnati public school.
“I did not believe one bit that it was real,” Gabriel Perry said.
Perry shared photos on social media of his 6-year-old son bound by his wrists and ankles.
“They shackled my 6-year-old’s legs. Like he’s done a crime or something and he’s going to jail,” he said.
He says his son, a newly enrolled Roberts Academy student, was restrained with socks in a transport vehicle assigned to take him from the academy to an after-school program in Roselawn.
“I asked him who tied the ankles and feet, and he said ‘The security guard tied them, daddy’ and said ‘But at least the socks weren’t dirty, they were clean socks,’” Perry expla
