CINCINNATI (WXIX) - A 31-year-old man is facing charges in the killing of an 18-year-old in Cincinnati.

Franklin France was arrested on an open murder warrant by Cincinnati police, the Fugitive Apprehension Squad and Columbus police in Columbus on Friday.

According to Cincinnati Police Sgt. Anthony Mitchell, France allegedly shot and killed Khyreece Roberson in Westwood on Oct. 13.

The shooting happened in the 2800 block of Westknolls Lane around 6:30 p.m.

Officers say they attempted life-saving measures on Roberson, but he died at the scene.

This is an ongoing investigation.
