ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — Bills coach Sean McDermott said Friday that defensive end A.J. Epenesa and linebacker Shaq Thompson will not play in Sunday’s game in Miami against the Dolphins.
Epenesa is sidelined with a concussion, while Thompson is out with a hamstring issue.
A couple of players who did not practice Wednesday returned in a full capacity on Friday, including defensive end Joey Bosa (wrist) and running back James Cook (ankle). Cornerback Taron Johnson (groin) and defensive tackle DaQuan Jones (calf) were limited Friday.
Cornerback Christian Benford, who was limited on Wednesday with a groin injury, did not participate in Thursday’s practice but did take part on a limited basis Friday.
