MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Two people are in custody after a high-speed chase that ended in one allegedly pulling a gun on law enforcement officers.
Tennessee Highway Patrol attempted to stop a vehicle with expired tags on Knight Arnold Road near Hickory Hill Road on Wednesday evening.
According to the police report, the driver refused to stop, speeding up to 120 miles per hour in a 55 mph zone.
The passenger eventually bailed out of the car while it was still moving.
The driver, later identified as Nestor Biviano, then came to a stop and was taken into custody.
Police say Biviano had a suspended license and was unable to provide proof of insurance.
While troopers chased the passenger on foot, he allegedly pulled out a gun.
