Vancouver police are warning the public about a dangerous offender who is now living at a halfway house in the city.
The Vancouver Police Department (VPD) says Tyler Gordon Strathdee poses a significant risk — with a history of sexual assault, assault with a weapon, and manslaughter.

Strathdee is currently serving an 11-year sentence out of Alberta. His sentence expires in 2028, but he was granted statutory release in December 2024, allowing him to serve the remaining three years in the community. At that time, he chose to live at a half
