MANHATTAN, Kan. (KCTV) - Kansas State running back Dylan Edwards won’t suit up for the Wildcats again in 2025.
According to a report from On3’s Pete Nakos , Edwards will medically redshirt after missing the majority of the season due to an ankle injury.
Edwards has played in four games for K-State this season, which is the maximum amount allowed to qualify for a redshirt.
The Derby, Kansas, native was expected to lead the Wildcats’ running back group in 2025 but exited K-State’s Week 0 loss to Iowa State with an ankle injury and played sparingly while attempting to return throughout the season.
In his four games, Edwards totaled 205 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns, rushing for a season-high 166 yards on 20 carries in a September win over UCF in Manhattan.
