With the regular season of Alabama high school football over in the Montgomery area, it means it's time for the AHSAA football playoffs to begin.

The Montgomery area will have 11 teams representing in the first round of the AHSAA playoffs, with five of the 11 earning the rights to host a playoff game in round one.
