OMAHA, Neb. —
The Federal Aviation Administration announced, beginning Friday, they're forcing airlines to cut back flights.
They're hoping to reduce pressure on air traffic controllers during the shut down.
Although those flight cuts only directly impact the busiest airports in the nation, travelers here in Omaha are feeling the effects.
Delays and cancellations in these larger airports are causing similar issues at Eppley Airfield.
