KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The Kansas City Royals announced on Friday the hiring of Connor Dawson as a hitting coach on the Major League staff.
Dawson, 32, is a 2012 graduate of Olathe North High School and played collegiately at Neosho County Community College in Chanute, Kansas.
Dawson spent the last four seasons as a hitting coach with the Milwaukee Brewers. During his time in Milwaukee, the Brewers offense ranked 7th in Major League Baseball with an average of 4.69 runs per game. In 2025, the Brewers ranked tied for 2nd in the Majors in team batting average (.258) and on-base percentage (.332) and 3rd in runs per game (4.98).
