South Dakotans who benefit from the federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program will not have their payments disrupted this month.
The South Dakota Department of Social Services announced in a Nov. 7 press release that it plans to issue the full allotment of SNAP benefits to enrolled recipients in November.
SNAP payments are expected to be distributed on Nov. 10. Benefits are provided to South Dakotans on the 10th of every month . Any delays in distribution will be "communicated as soon as they are known,' per the press brief.
