PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A Gresham man appeared before a Multnomah County judge on Thursday after he allegedly threatened Taco Bell customers with a gun on Halloween night.

David Mead, who is 64 years old, was arraigned on Nov. 6 on three misdemeanor charges of menacing for the incident that took place Oct. 31. He pleaded not guilty.

Police initially requested the public's assistance in identifying the man after receiving a report that he allegedly threatened customers with a gun.

A group of people delivering for Door Dash said they saw Mead banging on the door of the Taco Bell located at 205 NE Burnside Rd. while they waited in the drive through line, according to court documents. They said the man then got into a truck and drove next to their vehicle to try and cut in line.
