A Harrisburg man was arrested in Dauphin County Thursday after police said he stole a vehicle in an armed carjacking before leading police on a high-speed chase across multiple counties.

Just before 11:20 p.m. Thursday, Lower Allen Township Police were notified of a gold Ford Escape stolen during an armed carjacking in York.

A few minutes later, the victim tracked the stolen car northbound on Interstate 83 near the Fishing Creek exit in Fairview Township. Officers from Lower Allen and New Cumberland then responded to the overpass at Carlisle Road to try and intercept the stolen car.

The stolen vehicle, driven by 23-year-old Terric M. Seay, did not pull over and continued along I-83 at speeds over 120 miles per hour, police said in an affidavit of probable cause.
