WILSONVILLE, Ore. (KPTV) - Clackamas County deputies arrested a driver accused of eluding officers in Wilsonville and Tualatin on Friday.

The Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office says a Wilsonville Police officer tried to pull over the driver of a Ford pickup truck the parking lot of a shopping center near SW Wilsonville Rd and I-5.

The driver reportedly sped off, leading deputies on a chase while heading north on I-5.

Deputies deployed spike strips at SW Nyberg St. in Tualatin, which popped both of the driver’s side tires but the driver kept going.

The sheriff’s office says the driver continued down SW Borland Road before getting stuck in traffic, then drove down SW 65th Ave. toward SW Elligsen Rd.
