CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- The former home of Village Tavern will soon be welcoming diners again.

Coming to the Rotunda building in SouthPark is the Laurel Park restaurant and patio bar. The business touts its first location's cuisine, hospitality and "an ambiance that feels elevated but approachable.”

Owners say no seed oils are used, and they often source from North Carolina farms. Laurel Park is slated to open later in November.

Village Tavern closed its location on Congress Street last fall after operating for 35 years.

Laurel Park posted in August that they were selected by the property owners to fill the space.

We’re honored to have been selected to develop and open a place that compliments the neighborhood and inspires our guests. Thank you to our brokers, John Hadley
