A large crowd of family, friends and supporters joined the grand opening and ribbon cutting for a renewed Porter’s Tire Store in Talbott.

The family owned business, grown to 7 area locations, has expanded the store at 6012 W. Andrew Johnson Highway by adding a large metal building with room for all sorts of interior auto work and several new bays, and by renovating the office area and existing workspace.

“We’re so thankful that we’re able to do this,” company President Roger Porter said. “Hale Construction and all the partners that work so closely with them have really done a great job on the remodel. I think you’ll see it really is awesome.

“We appreciate Jessica at the bank with the financing and helping us with that. We appreciate everyone coming out today. We appreciate my brothers.
