ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The community can weigh in on the search for the University of New Mexico's next president later this month. The UNM Board of Regents will host two open forums, one on November 18 from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Student Union Building (Mirage-Thunderbird Room) and another on November 19 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Domenici Education Center (North Room 3170). The meetings will also be on Zoom. Those unable to attend can send feedback at this link.
The university is looking to replace President Garnett Stokes, who is retiring next July. Regent President Paul Blanchard said the info gathered from the public will help shape the leadership profile for the role.
