The Tripura Pradesh Youth Congress (TPYC) has urged the administration to intervene immediately after a strike by Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) members disrupted operations at the Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) depot in Dharmanagar, sparking fears of a fuel crisis across the state. TPYC president Neel Kamal Saha, in a memorandum to the West Tripura District Magistrate, alleged that infighting within the BMS had led to violent clashes among its members, leaving several tanker drivers injured and halting the loading of petrol and diesel for two days. The disruption caused most petrol pumps in Agartala and nearby areas to run dry, raising public concern.
