Princess Anne has begun her first day of her royal tour of Australia after touching down in Sydney despite rumours suggesting she would land in Melbourne.
The Princess Royal landed on Saturday morning with official visits to Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria on the itinerary for the next four days.
She strolled through the arrivals gate wearing a navy, double-breasted blazer, white shirt, and matching white pants, before heading to an awaiting convoy.
She will attend various events in her capacity as Colonel-in-Chief to the Royal Australian Corps of Signals, while the scandal surrounding her younger brother, Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, continues to develop back in the United Kingdom.
