AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - A suspect wanted for a list of charges, including attempted murder was arrested on Friday, according to the Richmond County Sheriffs Office.

According to the sheriffs office, narcotics investigators executed a search warrant at the Studio Lodge located on the 1000 block of Claussen Road on Friday.

Aaron J. Carter, 48, was arrested on the scene, according to deputies.

Investigators say Carter is wanted out of Columbia, South Carolina for attempted murder and resisting arrest.
