Madison Bartovich showed off her playmaking skills as Rock Ridge opened the 2025-26 girls hockey season with a 5-2 home win over Two Rivers on Friday at Iron Trail Motors Event Center in Virginia.
Bartovich finished with a goal and primary assist on power play duty and a second even strength assist as the Wolverines pulled away.
Alaina Husmann and Mimi Babiracki had even-strength goals to give Rock Ridge a 2-1 lead at the game’s halfway point. Ayla Troutwine scored on the power play for a 3-1 lead in the second period before Bartovich’s tally made it 4-2 early in the third period.
Mayme Scott also scored for the Wolverines, who got 31 saves from goalie Erin Troutwine.
