WEST DEPTFORD — When the game plan was being put together this past week for Delran's showdown with West Deptford, Bears quarterback Vinny Sacca was asked by a few of the coaches how he would feel about getting 40 carries.
They were kidding a bit with that figure, but Sacca didn't miss a beat.
HIs response?
"Let's make it 50."
"If you look at the size of him, he's an imposing kid," Delran coach Colin Hewko said. "When he gets through that first level, and with the way he can move and with a head of steam, he's tough to tackle. He's our dude. He does everything for us. Hopefully, more and more people are taking notice of how great a player he is."
Sacca ran, passed and ultimately led Delran to where it hasn't gone in 33 years. The 6-foot-1, 205-pound senior QB ran for two scores, threw
