Out on bail, a man accused in a double-murder case was allegedly stabbed to death by three minors – including the cousin of one of his victims – in Delhi’s Mahendra Park area on Friday, the Delhi Police said.

“On November 7, information was received that Rakesh Kumar alias Sonu, 51, a resident of BH-711A, Shalimar Bagh, Delhi , was admitted at Babu Jagjivan Ram Memorial (BJRM) Hospital by one Deepak Kumar with stab injuries. He was declared dead at the hospital,” a police officer said.

The police analysed CCTV footage from the spot of the crime and allegedly found the involvement of three minors, including a cousin of Rakesh’s victim. “As per the CCTV footage we found, three people were seen stabbing the deceased multiple times and fleeing the spot around 1.15 am,” an officer said.
