After an attack by five stray dogs, a 35-year-old man on Thursday died fighting for his life in a Surat city hospital. While attempting to escape the attack, the man’s – Ibrahim Ansari – neck had hit a parked bike’s silencer, leaving him 80 per cent paralysed.
Ansari breathed his last while undergoing treatment at Surat city’s Lokhat hospital.
The Market department of the Surat Municipal Corporation caught five stray dogs from the area on Friday.
Ansari was a resident of the Bhandariwad area at Hodi-bungalow.
The incident occurred on October 24, when Ansari was walking back home after praying at his father’s grave in Haripura Kabristan.
