The Pueblo South Colts hosted the Discovery Canyon Thunder on Friday, Nov. 7, at Dutch Clark Stadium in a pivotal final regular-season game for the Colts.
With a win, Pueblo South would not only secure itself a high seed for the playoffs, but it would also win the 3A Pikes Peak League title.
The Colts came out hot in this one, both offensively and defensively. They shut down a very talented Discovery Canyon offense and were able to force turnovers and even got a defensive touchdown, all in the first quarter.
