UConn sets new record in 63-point win over UMass Lowell

UConn put on a stunning display of dominance Friday night, setting a program record with a 47-point halftime lead en route to a 110-47 rout of UMass Lowell at PeoplesBank Arena.

Tarris Reed Jr. had a double-double with 20 points and 12 rebounds in his season debut, while Silas Demary Jr. added 16 points and seven assists for the No. 4 Huskies.

The preseason All-Big East first-team pick returned from a hamstring injury that sidelined him in the opener and notched his fifth career 20-point, 10-rebound game.

Seven players scored in double figures as UConn extended its Hartford winning streak to 19 games and topped 100 points for the first time since 2022.
