Senior Congress MLA and former Leader of Opposition Vijay Wadettiwar Saturday alleged that Maharashtra Transport Minister Pratap Sarnaik acquired a four-acre land parcel in Mira Bhayandar worth around Rs 200 crore for just Rs 3 crore to set up an educational institute.

Wadettiwar claimed that the land’s actual market value is nearly Rs 400 crore and said the deal reflects a broader pattern of land-related irregularities involving builders, developers and political leaders across major cities.

“You loot Maharashtra and expect us to keep our eyes closed,” Wadettiwar said.
