SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) - This weekend’s mild, spring-like weather will take a sharp turn as a strong cold front moves through the region, bringing the return of winter-like conditions early next week.
Warm Weekend
Saturday will feel more like early May than early November, with highs climbing into the lower 80s, well above average for this time of year. As the cold front approaches from the west, the warm and humid air ahead of it could trigger a few spotty showers or thunderstorms between noon and 5 PM today. By Sunday, the front will move closer, bringing another round of isolated showers and storms during the afternoon hours. While widespread severe weather is not expected, there is a low-end risk that some storms could produce gusty winds and possibly reach severe levels due to the war
