RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — Police are investigating what led to a shooting in front of a townhome in east Raleigh.

According to the Raleigh Police Department, a man walked into WakeMed early Saturday morning after apparently getting shot.

Officers said the shooting occurred around 12:45 a.m. on the 1200 block of South East Street in front of a townhome.

Officers consider the man's injuries to be non-life-threatening. No one is in custody at this time, according to police.

CBS 17 was at the scene where officers secured the front of the townhome community, collecting evidence all the way up to Branch Street.
