Good News for Horticulture Farmers: Govt announces new subsidy provisions

Chandigarh, November 8, 2025: In a major boost for horticulture farmers, the Haryana Government has introduced new provisions to promote the cultivation of fruits, vegetables, flowers, spices, and aromatic plants. The initiative aims to encourage farmers to adopt diversified and integrated farming models under the state’s horticulture development programmes.

A spokesperson of the Horticulture Department shared that the schemes include financial assistance for setting up new fruit orchards, integrated vegetable cultivation, spice and aromatic plant farming, and flower cultivation.

Under these schemes, farmers will receive subsidies ranging from ₹24,500 to ₹1,40,000 per acre for planting new fruit
