Like Ligons, Brian Sherfield also waited patiently outside the Market at Eastpoint, where Restore OKC gave away $15,000 in gift cards to individuals and families whose SNAP benefits didn't arrive on Nov. 1 due to the federal government shutdown. The recent distribution was the second of three planned by Restore OKC, after a local church made a sizable donation and other donors matched it to the tune of $45,000.
