Lawton MacArthur football coach Brett Manning only wondered what was wrong when quarterback Aivan Locklin went down with 2:19 left in Friday night's District 5A-1 game at Bishop McGuinness.
Twisted ankle. Concussion. Heaven forbid, a knee injury.
"I was worried," Manning admitted.
Luckily, the Highlanders' star senior suffered a cramp in one of the legs that carried Lawton MacArthur to a 35-21 victory over McGuinness before 2,000 fans at Pribil Stadium.
