A Michigan State University student who was accused of intimidating university officials and disrupting a university event while protesting the Israel-Hamas war in Gaza was found not responsible by a hearing board, the university confirmed Friday evening.
MSU senior Eli Folts did not break the student code of conduct while protesting and calling for the university to divest from weapons manufacturing during an annual event promoting student organizations in August, the board found. The board includes faculty, students and staff at Michigan State.
