Police have arrested a suspect after two bodies were found at a Shelby Township auto dealership on Friday.
The suspect was found early Saturday after police executed a search warrant at a hotel in Romulus near Detroit Metro Airport, according to a release from Shelby Township Police Lt. Mark Benedettini.
Evidence was also recovered from the hotel room, Benedettini said. The suspect's name will be released once he is arraigned.
Sterling Heights police’s Special Response Team assisted Shelby Township police’s Tactical Response Unit in the execution of the warrant.
On Friday afternoon, two Macomb County men were found dead at Star Auto Sales on Ryan Road in an incident described by authorities as a double homicide.
