Pune, November 8, 2025: The Anti-Extortion Squad 1 of Pune City Police Crime Branch has arrested a wanted accused linked to the notorious Nilesh Ghaywal gang, who had been absconding in a serious MCOCA case.

On November 7, 2025, Police Constable Rajendra Landge from the Anti-Extortion Squad 1 received a tip-off from a confidential informant about the location of the accused. The information revealed that , was hiding in , under a false identity.
