New Delhi: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat on Saturday said the Sangh is a “unique organisation with no parallel in the world” and was not created in reaction to any situation or to oppose anyone, but to unite the entire society through character-building and collective awakening.

‘Unity, not power pursuit’

Speaking at the two-day lecture series titled “100 Years of Sangh Journey: New Horizons” in Bengaluru, Bhagwat said the Sangh’s purpose is not destruction but constructive establishment. “The RSS trains individuals in shakhas to think only about Bharat Mata.
