Volunteers with the Sydenham District Hospital Auxiliary have made a second donation of $35,000 towards the campaign to redevelop the Wallaceburg hospital site.

The group has made a three-year commitment to provide a total of $100,000 to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation’s Our Hospital, Our Future Wallaceburg site redevelopment campaign.

The first donation of $35,000 was made in July 2024.

“This incredible group of volunteers continues to go above and beyond for their community,” Christine Mitchell, president and CEO of the CKHA Foundation, said in a news release.

“Their commitment and generosity are a reflection of the heart and spirit of Wallaceburg. Every
