Some United Churches in Lambton County are finding new life sharing space with childcare centres.

Wyoming United Church is the latest to work with George and Steadman Properties, a young Brigden company started by Ross George and Mark Steadman, that has has purchased two church buildings so far, as well as a former Masonic lodge, to redevelop as childcare sites.

The arrangements with United Churches in Courtright and Wyoming, and potentially in Watford, allow the congregations to continue to using portions of the buildings as tenants.

Ross George said it all came about after he and business partner Mark Steadman started families around the same time.
