MONROE COUNTY, Mo. (WGEM) - The two women who were arrested for obstructing justice during a homicide investigation in Monroe County have now been charged with murder in the second degree.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol announced the criminal charged on Friday against Lois Armour, 78, and Patty Armour, 51, both of Paris, Missouri.
Both women were present at about 2 p.m. on Oct. 12 when Missouri State Highway Patrol officers attempted to contact 57-year-old Charles Armour, a person of interest in a homicide , at his residence in Paris, and were told by the women that Charles Armour was not there.
According to police, Charles Armour was hiding in a bathroom.
When confronted, he shot at and wounded a Randolph County Deputy.
