DYKER HEIGHTS, Brooklyn (WABC) -- Two men have been arrested and another remains at large after a carjacking in Dyker Heights, Brooklyn, early Saturday, police said.
Police responded to reports of shots fired near 11th Avenue and Bay Ridge Parkway around 12:34 a.m.
Responding officers determined no shots had been fired, but a 37-year-old man had been assaulted and his 2014 Toyota Sienna stolen.
The victim was approached by three men who punched and kicked him before taking off in the vehicle, according to police.
The suspects later crashed the minivan on the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway near Exit 18, where officers arrested two of the individuals. The third suspect fled and remains at large.
The victim is expected to recover.
