RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- A new high-end townhome-style condo community is coming to Historic Oberlin Village in Raleigh.

The development, named "Oberlin Preserve," will feature 27 luxury condos ranging from 2,700 to over 3,200 square feet. The starting price for these upscale homes is $1.5 million.

The community is being built on a vacant lot on Chester Road, just off Oberlin Road, and is led by the Wilson-Blount Development Group.

The first homes are expected to be completed by 2027. Oberlin Village , one of Raleigh's oldest historically Black neighborhoods, has undergone significant changes over the years.
